About

About this blog:
This is a blog written by two sisters (in-law) who are passionate about women’s rights, LGBTQ issues and all things “feminist.” This is a space for us to raise awareness of important gender-related issues, explore our own feminist beliefs and connect with like-minded individuals. Through this blog, we hope to spread our message of gender equality and take a step toward creating a more equal world.

About C:
C graduated from Miami University in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Linguistics. She is currently attending Teachers College Columbia University for the Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Masters Program. She currently lives in New York City with her husband while both attend graduate school, but has plans to settle down near her small hometown in Ohio once the couple’s education is complete.  Although her education is language and teaching related, C has a passion for women’s and gender issues and is excited to explore them even more through this blog.  In her spare time she loves reading, watching movies, cooking, and dancing to Queen Bey with E.

About E:
E has had an interest in women’s issues since an early age and was able to expound on those interests while attending Brigham Young University. After graduating with a degree in psychology (with minors in Family Life and Women’s Studies), E continued on to work in the healthcare field; first in a psychiatric hospital and now at a private Obstetric and Gynecology office. She is also attending Palo Alto University for her Masters degree in psychology.  E currently resides in Ohio with her spouse and two dogs and in her spare time she likes to read, discuss articles with C, watch movies, eat delicious food, and explore the city.

  2. Wow, this is almost exactly like my friend and I ! We’re both feminists and passionate about gender issues and equality(or lack thereof), and we started our blog last week to share our views. I think we’re using the same theme as well! After reading some of your blogs, you guys are quickly becoming a role model for our blog 🙂

  3. Thanks for stopping by my blog, I appreciate it that you took the time to like my posts and decided to follow me.

I’m enjoying your blog too. Of course I am also very concerned with womens/feminist issues. Mostly because I’ve been fighting for the chance to live my live the way I choose since forever! 😉 It seems everything I want to do with my life is something that women ‘don’t/can’t do’.

It’s SO much harder to live as a woman and I don’t think that’s right. I’m happy to see that things are changing for the better but it’s still not fast enough for me.
